Instructions

Make meatballs

Mix pork, scallion, ginger, cornstarch, egg, and a pinch of salt. Roll into 1-inch meatballs. Pan-fry in oil, rolling occasionally, 8 min until browned all over and cooked through.

Glaze with sauce(10 min)

Mix ketchup, vinegar, sugar, soy, and 1/4 cup water. Pour into wok, bring to a simmer. Return meatballs and toss to coat. Let the sauce reduce 2-3 min until thick and glossy. Each meatball should glisten like a lacquered gem.
